TV Ghost • Subterfuge
Music video produced for post-punk band TV Ghost released in conjunction with their sophomore release Mass Dream on In The Red Records. The video was conceived by singer/guitarist Tim Gick with Last Day inspired by one of his oil paintings. The band was filmed in a dark, empty theatre with the performance later projected onto a miniature set to achieve the desired aesthetics. The set was designed and constructed over a three month period and all effects were captured in-camera by cinematographer Barry Elmore. The album received a favorable review and the video was featured in Pitchfork Media after their release in spring of 2011. Last Day is also credited with the photography for the Mass Dream album cover.
